The oneofakind (hard to seperate the words, one-of-a-kind) Spring show is here from March 20th – 24th, 2008. Haven’t heard of it? Here’s a snippet:
The One of a Kind Show is Canada’s finest craft show, bringing innovative artists, craftspeople, and designers together to share their unique creations with the rest of the world. With a proud focus on homegrown talent, our Christmas and Spring Shows bring together the best of Canada, for a personal shopping experience like no other. Our vast selection, on-site perks and endless show features make us ‘destination shopping’ at its best
Don’t see it as a bunch of grannies sitting around and knitting scarves, but more of an eclectic mix of local talent. After all – who doesn’t want to be original?
Tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door.

It’s just around the corner! Nathan Phillips Square is about to be filled with more fashionistas per square foot than anywhere else in Toronto. With exciting shows from Evan Biddell (Project Runway Canada Winner), Lucian Matis, and Rudsak all packed into five eventful days, it’s surely a fashion spectacle not to be missed. Strolling past the site earlier this weekend, you can already sense the excitement in the air, as the tent is already prominently setup with the event plastered on the front in bold letters.

Welcome back Spring! I associate the season with an unhealthy addiction to clothing, frozen drinks, and yearning for new colour in my life. Coloured denim is back with a vengeance – even Levi’s has managed to grapple with the concept in their line, and the colours look refreshingly different (last year in the Summer/Fall we were all about just the solid electric blue and red).
When I first saw them, I really couldn’t swallow the idea of going back to the elementary school days of OshKosh jeans and cuffed sweatpants – I wore coloured denim when I loved floral-linen-denim-vests. But these jeans can be pulled off in a pretty sleek manner alongside a more muted graphic tshirt or sophisticated top. Hey Folks, let’s rock this season without the dark wash jeans.

It’s that time again! Who doesn’t love a scrumptious brunch? To kick off L’Oreal Fashion week, the lovely TFBB 15 is taking place this coming Sunday. Unfortunately I have only about two more weeks until the end of my undergraduate career and so I cannot attend due to 10281021 things the next week.
To all bloggers and blogees (okay, well, I meant that to refer to readers), I strongly suggest you go and meet these fabulous souls.
I’m off to another 12019821 pages of reading – miss you all (for now)!
