I’m a HoneyDipp Girl
And you should be too.
I first discovered HoneyDipp Beauty products this summer at Shannae Ingleton’s What Women Want event in downtown Toronto and since then I’ve been hooked!
I am a lover of scrubs, thick creams, and anything that will keep me feeling soft and smelling good and let me tell you, this stuff gives the current heavyweight peddlers some definite competition.
I regularly use the Citrus Brown Sugar Scrub, the Warm Vanilla Body Butter and the Island Burst Honey Buns (moisturizing soap and exfoliating sea sponge in 1—very cool and lasts FOREVER) so I stay so fresh and so clean : ).
Everything is made with natural ingredients i.e. sugar, coconut, aloe and of course honey so it’s almost good enough to eat (although I advise against it).Toronto born and bred y’all! Visit www.honeydipp.com if you too have a weakness for sweetness.
Thanks to the tubular folks at The Insider, the official voice of the S-of-B School (yeah, cryptic is I). Miss Nikita R. did a profile on me for the October Issue. Check it out on campus (if you can) – if not, you can squint really hard and attempt to read it. Keeding, check it by clickering here.
> special thanks to Nikita, Amy, and Gem

Despite the naming of the brand, grey antics extends to more than just the minimal shade – it encompasses a sensibility and class that young urban hipsters (…as people deemed me one of) don’t often get when shopping about. The (relatively) new line was picked up by urbanoutfitters and has been featured as a full collection (with editorial shoot). I’m loving the Grey Antics Oxford jogger, likely because I’m addicted to less structured, asymmetrical jackets lately. I swear I’m only on my 5th jacket of the year or so.
Next time you’re on the urbanoutfitters make sure you sift through the grey antics offerings. Do it. Now.
The Green Fashion movement is here and seemingly here to stay. The challenge lies in making the actual clothing look good.
Don’t know what I mean? Think those H&M t-shirts endorsed by a plethora of celebrities. Were they that well designed? No. Was I ever compelled to purchase them? Not really.
Nicole Bridger embraces the contemporary woman and her line is framed as “Style with Sustenance”. As a Ryerson Fashion Grad, she has been presented grand opportunities such as interning for Vivienne Westwood in London.
Her press release puts it beautifully:
Sex and the City has arrived in packaged form – now you can get a copy of the squeal-worthy movie alongside the purchase of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Loveliest perfume yet. Lovely, that is.
I’ve always been in awe of SJP’s timelessness, and her ability to be incredibly articulate (this is me thinking back to when she appeared on Oprah to discuss the exit of SATC). The same can be reflected in the presentation of her fragrance – the website and photography already had me sold.
I’m not exactly a perfume expert (but I might start to become one) – I think that the most important selling point of a fragrance is wearability for me. There’s nothing worse than using fragrance as a substitute for air freshener in hopes of using it up (here I am, sharing all my secrets). Lovely is soft and subdued with part citrus, floral and light wood – perfect for daily wear.
For those who have yet to get it, here’s the incentive:
An exclusive gift, available only at Sears. Beginning October 18th, visit your nearest Sears fragrance department and with the purchase of a Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker Eau de Parfum Spray100ml, you will receive a copy of the much anticipated DVD release, Sex and the City The Movie.
Now go on, smell Lovely.
