While I still haven’t figured out how to actually pronounce the name properly (Weiner or….Whiner?), I’ve been lucky enough to receive the Handcuff Lariat (Brass) necklace. It was a tad difficult to figure out how to actually wear it, but at long last it has made it so worth it.
With an extensive artistic background, Erica Weiner works closely with a friend by the name of Lindsay Salmon (insert another name joke here), and they travel the country for unique materials to create her original line. Mixing together vintage styles and natural pieces, her line boasts quality that’s still affordable (though I beg to differ, a few of the pieces are a little more up there).
I’m crazy about handcuffs now because of her take – thanks E.W.!

Hey Folks,
Quick announcement – thanks to everyone that commented on the Secret Obsession post. The one that stood out to me was from (drum rolling)…
DANA: Craigslist missed connections. I easily check it every fifteen minutes. I keep waiting for the day when someone posts something about me. While it hasn’t happened, it’s still nice to read about all the other romantics in the city.
Love it – thanks Dana, congrats!
Big tings are going to happen – I’m currently in the process of resituating, so just be patient with me!

This is something that I don’t think I’ve heard of everyday – a brand coming to life in the form of extreme parade cuteness. Harajuku Lovers Perfume from Gwen Stefani has a planned appearance for the upcoming Macy’s Parade. Check out some sneak peek images below, and the deets yo:
WHAT: Harajuku Lovers float appearing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
WHEN: Thursday, November 27, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PMWHERE: Columbus Circle: the west side of the street; Broadway: between 38th and 58th streets; 34th Street: the south side of the street between Broadway and 7th Avenue
WHY: Neon Lights, over the top signs and Harajuku girls are on full blast on the new Harajuku Lovers float. Inspired by the Harajuku area of downtown Tokyo, the float consists of multi-level, clear, plexi-glass platforms that show the lights of Tokyo to full effect. Featured on board will be balloonhead alter egos of Love, Lil Angel, Music, Baby and G – the Harajuku Girls! Also taking the trip through Manhattan will be the real Love, Angel, Music and Baby who will dance close to their balloon counterparts on Thanksgiving.
