Ok, so I’m completely late in sharing Toy Watches since they’ve been out for a minute (womp, womp…pun not intended). What do the neon versions remind me of? The huge Transformers or Rainbow Bright watches that flip open from the ’80s. I love it! Remember Power Rangers, ‘90’s babies? Them too! “Power Rangers activate” or something like that??? I now digress.
Fast forward 20 years and everyone from hipsters to fashionistas/sters to celebrities are rocking the anti-fashion timepiece, like it’s the hottest thing on earth. Aaaand, they very recently introduced some new collections, including Tattoo, Plastermic, and, Naked (see through—sexy). Bound to be on the wrists of DJs, rappers, and cool kids everywhere.

Aside from being obsessed with the overall brand, there’s one particular dress that’s been nagging at me and will likely keep me up at night. I adore the Twinkle Intermission Dress for its use of contrast and colour, the shape, the acceptable use of pockets on a dress, the strappiness, and the band at the bottom. I can’t get over it! Too bad this twinkie comes at $337.00 US. Maybe I can start by buying the hanger.

You know how you’ve always wanted to wear clothes with your favourite Disney characters on them?
Me neither, but apparently some people do and for those lucky individuals, The Hundreds have created the “Lost Boys” collection in partnership with Disney.
I probably sound a bit harsh but it’s just because I wouldn’t wear these pieces myself, although I can see them working for certain people. I respect what they’ve done and I like when clothing company’s reinterpret iconic imagery. In this case, The Hundreds, are helping to make Disney relevant again and reintroducing these lovable characters to a generation that has, at times, forgotten about them because of the likes of Nemo and Wall-E. If you’re into this you can purchase pieces from the collection in a few select boutiques but be quick because I think that these will sell out fast (if they haven’t already).
> old news is good news – dec 1st was when the splash of thehundreds x disney came about

They say in with the new and out with the old – no one’s seemed to ring in the sales season much like UO has, with their angular imagery of a mirrored-girl-creature-thing-it-thinger picture. I just thought I’d share – oh yeah, and they’ve got some sales too.
I haven’t really been able to head out and shop much b/c of working (yes, retail is fine fine times during the holiday season).
Anyone find any good deals? I’ll do a postie on the ones that I do find for those who didn’t hit up Boxing Day (and why would you when things get marked down again?!)
While I was on the Ben Sherman website (doing my daily peruse of online brand websites coveting more than ever before), I came across one of those “I’d-buy-it-if-it-wasn’t-white-and-impossible-to-care-for-unless-you’re-part-of-the-russian-mob-and-with-unlimited-drycleaning”.
Anyway, introducing a lovely funnel neck jacket from Ben Sherman. Love – do you?
