Ok, so I’m completely late in sharing Toy Watches since they’ve been out for a minute (womp, womp…pun not intended). What do the neon versions remind me of? The huge Transformers or Rainbow Bright watches that flip open from the ’80s. I love it! Remember Power Rangers, ‘90’s babies? Them too! “Power Rangers activate” or something like that??? I now digress.

Fast forward 20 years and everyone from hipsters to fashionistas/sters to celebrities are rocking the anti-fashion timepiece, like it’s the hottest thing on earth. Aaaand, they very recently introduced some …

Aside from being obsessed with the overall brand, there’s one particular dress that’s been nagging at me and will likely keep me up at night. I adore the Twinkle Intermission Dress for its use of contrast and colour, the shape, the acceptable use of pockets on a dress, the strappiness, and the band at the bottom. I can’t get over it! Too bad this twinkie comes at $337.00 US. Maybe I can start by buying the hanger.

You know how you’ve always wanted to wear clothes with your favourite Disney characters on them?

Me neither, but apparently some people do and for those lucky individuals, The Hundreds have created the “Lost Boys” collection in partnership with Disney.

I probably sound a bit harsh but it’s just because I wouldn’t wear these pieces myself, although I can see them working for certain people. I respect what they’ve done and I like when clothing company’s reinterpret iconic imagery. In this case, The Hundreds, are helping to make Disney relevant again and …

They say in with the new and out with the old – no one’s seemed to ring in the sales season much like UO has, with their angular imagery of a mirrored-girl-creature-thing-it-thinger picture. I just thought I’d share – oh yeah, and they’ve got some sales too.

I haven’t really been able to head out and shop much b/c of working (yes, retail is fine fine times during the holiday season).

Anyone find any good deals? I’ll do a postie on the ones that I do find for those who didn’t hit …

While I was on the Ben Sherman website (doing my daily peruse of online brand websites coveting more than ever before), I came across one of those “I’d-buy-it-if-it-wasn’t-white-and-impossible-to-care-for-unless-you’re-part-of-the-russian-mob-and-with-unlimited-drycleaning”.

Anyway, introducing a lovely funnel neck jacket from Ben Sherman. Love – do you?

I have no idea where this came from and why Bill Gates would ever pose for a shot like this, but I felt like the right thing to do was share it.

It’s exclusive to Urban Outfitters, and what’s better is their description for the shirt:
Charged with three counts of straight runnin’ things.
As a former colleague used to say…”dat’s riiight!”

Would you wear it?

She said it best, not I. Lily Allen’s back with a fierce sampler (as if we expected anything less). Take no offence to her vulgarities – it just makes it more enjoyable.

Check the Youtube Vid or listen to it on bloc music (yeah, up there mon!)

0:00 Everyone’s At It
1:24 The Fear
2:30 Not Fair (not previously heard – it’s got banjos!)
3:48 22 (not previously heard – about women aging in today’s society)
4:52 Never Gonna Happen (not previously heard – & now…an accordion??)

Though it comes nearly to an end, I’ve decided to share this image that I found on my computer from a family reunion that we had this past summer. Check out this stylish duo.

I’m treating this holiday as if it were New Year’s – thinking about the future, feeling renewed and inspired to chase those dreams, and savouring the simple things in life like reading a newly acquired book or overloading on Christmas-themed chocolates and taking sporadic naps that I can never seem to do in my new digs.

Confused about what to get that girl because you don’t want to get “that thing”? Yeah, you heard me. Well, you can’t really go wrong with things that are just purely and utterly luscious in every meaning of the word.

I never had the opps to try out products from Lush before, but having recently acquired a fair number from their brand offering, I’ve passed my positive judgement on it – they’re products that live up to high standards and make for fantastic gifting. My suggestion – get Snowcake for your …

This wasn’t one of those years that I had a huge massive craving for all things material – it’s one of those “I want to bake cookies and read and get inspired” years for Christmas, where I can’t even possibly think of anything I could need more than the bare necessities (although there are some boots that I’m dying to get. But I’ll hold off until I have something more pressing, like a microwave so I can indulge in Hungry Manseseses and bad frozen portions. I digress like a digressor).

Regardless, …
