Come summer I’m a complete shorts fiend – pretty much any time I’m not at work I’ll be donning a pair of shorts. I’ve been obsessed with these pair ever since I picked them up from American Eagle – they’re perfectly washed and worn in upon purchase (yes, we all love buying new-old-seeming things these days, that’s why vintage is thriving). Perfect for frolicking in the sun and being active, the AE Destroyed Cutoff Shorts are the perfect go-to for running amuck.

Pushing and waiting is what they’re doing – goodboy clothing shows at Berkeley Church on Sunday May 3, 2009. Promising to be an entertaining time, they’ve got a full performance schedule, and from what I’ve seen, a strong casual wear offering for the coming season.

And hey, it’s always nifty to support local brands, non? Answer: Yes.

It’s new and it’s naked – who could disagree with that? A little while back I was sent lab samples (aka pre-packaged product, so not so weird) for the True Blue Spa naked line from Bath and Body Works. While it sounds a little bit alarming to get lab samples, rest assured the products were most definitely the “Cotton Dress Shea Light Body Lotion” ($17.50) and the “Bare Skin Silk Body Mist” ($19.50). It’s another introduction into the affordable luxury realm. The premise? Lightweight products perfect for a steamy summer …

Perfect boyfriends don’t exist – but perfect boyfriend jeans surely compensate for that (see that – that was me trying to be witty)! There was chat about boyfriend jeans in a post by Karizza, and here I am again to highlight these boyfriend jeans (The Rocco) from Fidelity Denim. Why? Because I’m smitten with their jeans (I love saying the word smitten. Smitten Smitten Smitten) – these boyfriend jeans are torn and worn in all the right places, and rolled up to perfection, exuding a casual, comfortable, and easy going …

The White Tie Affair – I dub them the kings of summer driving music, because it’s so damn adorable to ride around to their tunes. They’ve got a Californian aura about them, yet they raise from Chicago (aka Chi-town). Recognize the name at all? TWTA’s been featured on The Hills, and they’re currently on tour with Lady GaGa. Oh, and they introduced themselves with a raunchy music video for starters (Allow Me to Introduce Myself…Mr. Right).

I got a little opportunity to chat with Chris Wallace (front man, man of the …

Hey Folks,

Quick message de moi – by the time this gets published I won’t actually be on Canadian soil, so I wanted to say enjoy the posts that are going up within the timeframe that I’m gone and I’ll be back at it again when I’m here on Thursday. While I’m not sure how many pictures I’ll be posting of my time away (Apoon, Em and I have a pact to only allow approved photos up haha), I’ll be sure to think of you all while I’m basking on some …

I went in search for the perfect summer shoe to transition me from the astoundingly frigid spring. I went to Browns, B2, Feet First, Stoneridge, Nine West, Icon, Forever 21, Spring, Soft Moc, Le Chateau – all in hopes of finding the one. Strangely enough, I ended up back at Aldo (yes, I know I must be supporting one of their stores with the volume I buy from there). The Bregantini’s are a pleasant little number when worn, I love the structure and the comfort (yes, suede bottoms). Do they …

White is pleasant all year round – and Jessica Mary Clayton has completely embraced the sentiment. Gaining some well deserved exposure through Mass Exodus and Toronto Alternative Fashion Week (she showed on April 21st, 2009), JMC has created a gorgeous collection of crisp whites, neat pleats, and ruffles in all the right places. Classy and classic, with a tinge of victorian. Clayton embraces romance in her line.

I’m a strong advocate for t-shirts with a cause (yeah yeah, I know you’ll never really catch me in a graphic t-shirt unless I’m sheepishly running errands), but I think this is a grand one. Threadless.com (our favourite social-tshirt-website) is going hard at the issue of the environment for this lovely week. Thirteen new shirts with an eco-flavour have been introduced to promote a greener lifestyle (or just being hilariously green). What’s more is that this week they’re running with a campaign where they will donate $1.00 per t-shirt sale …
