LUSH Cosmetics is quickly becoming a staple favourite for me in my ever growing array of product belongings. The always outstandingly well-fragranted (that sounds too utterly scientific coming from me) products that they create have me near swoon (consistently mid-swoon I’d say). The latest one that I can attribute this swooning to? The Vanilla Puff Powder. While it emulates some sort of cheese dispenser (not the most convenient nor sexy packaging), I do have to say that the smell and ease of use overpowers this downfall. As someone once said “it makes you smell like an angel”. Who doesn’t love smelling like an incredible dessert? Don’t lie to me.

Welcome back FORT Apparel, the brand near and dear to the 416 (did a little post about them back in the midst of the winter). The brand boasts celebo support from (name dropping)  George Stroumboulopoulos, Cabbie Richards and Russell Peters. Trevor Crane, the owner of the line, has come back this season with some updated offerings like the namesake shirt, the New School 416 Tee (with Blue Jay themed colours), and “The Audience”. Where to find them? Think stolenriches (who also collaborated with FORT on the additional FourOneSix shirt). Welcome back FORT!

It’s the NICE GUY Shirts – from WongFu Productions. If you haven’t heard of them, they’re an up and coming Asian production company. They’ve created some solid videos while I was in university – entertaining yet speak only truth about social commentary. “Jia You” or “Ga Yow” is definitely a university saying that stuck for me (this coming from the jooksingest girl around) – it means to “add oil”, which is a saying that Chinese invented regarding adding oil to make you go faster (though that doesn’t translate so well)

Point being, I love how they managed to throw it on a t-shirt and retail it online for $22.00, and have such a wonderfully devoted following.

Montreal Musings – they’re all coming soon. Apologies for the wrinkley shirt-dress I’m wearing in the picture (it’s hella awkward). Here’s just a snippet of what went down while away for this past weekend:

• Absolutely blasting there – shaving an hour off the travel time is something I can only semi-pride myself in though
• Great shopping – Toronto retail styling was getting a tad tired for me
• Poutined, Creped, Veganed, walked abundantly, and met randoms
• Metric on loop – hey, it’s also currently on bloc music right now
• My non-meat consumption for 20 days (I’m now on day 12) continued on strong through the trip
• Yoko Lennon Exhibit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts – an inspirational array that lets you imagine
