Matte matte matte – it’s literally everywhere, lending itself to so many different types of make up. Knock Out cosmetics produces a line of matte nail polishes that are available at point of purchase in a certain Canadian retailer. I admittedly let my impulsive tendency to buy useless things get the best of me (ack, hey, first step is to address it) and I went home with this as an add on to grabbing a slopping slouchy crop shirt (side note…sorry, I digress). The concept behind these matte polishes is that they’re brush and go – no top coat or anything else necessary. While the packaging is slick (well, matte and perfect to be specific), the product itself isn’t strong. Let’s say it’s…”chipper”. It chips. Easily, and a lot. And it makes me think my nails have become a chalkboard (forget nails on a chalkboard, this is more agitating).
Also a bad time for their website to go down (www.koknockout.com). It’s got some great promise, just didn’t quite deliver at over $20+ a bottle.

The Twittersphere is a great place – how else would I have met the lovely Kimberly Mae from v:space Studio? I was sent some beautiful samples of their stunning and graphics-rich creative cards for the season, I wish I was able to post earlier (but due to extreme busy-ness, I wasn’t able to). But if you still have cards to send out or share, then definitely hit them up for these (or look them up during the year whenever you have a little note to send to someone). I really enjoyed their pearl necklace card (with rounded corners), as well as their Thank You cards.
Check out their well priced offering on etsy: vspacestudio.etsy.com.
Happy Holidays!
Noice – a blog / magazine playing host to an event, something that holds true to my heart. Happy Boxing Day with Format Magazine with up to 85% off streetwear oriented collections. Go, if only for the support of the Santa wearing 10deep.
If I had room in my wardrobe for more jeans, I’d jump on this (that is, if you’re not on the jeggings trend, which I’ll admit to succumbing to). Over the Rainbow is doing some sweet boxing day deals, here are some more deets:
THE DEALS:
50% off all seasonal DENIM styles (All week long LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM!)
30% off all FALL fashion items (men’s & women’s bargains!)
20% off regular stock denim & fashion (Boxing Day ONLY!! SAVE WHILE U CAN!)
I’ll be working away on boxing day – so I suggest you run and enjoy if you can get your hands on these deals (premium denim at 20% off?! Mm..)

Merry Christmas everybody – hope you’re having a grand one and your holidays are looking bright as ever. Not to provide too much foreshadowing, but look forward to some movement with the blog. Plenty excited to have a week off to relax and amp up for the new year – it’s going to be absolutely…HUGE.
xoxo,
Gloria
