Blossom Lounge is one of my favourite hidden treasures (which I think, as a byproduct of all this talk of this store, is slowly becoming less hidden), tucked away in beautiful Mainstreet Unionville. Even moreso a favourite because of the always amazing and sweethearted owner of the boutique. This Saturday they’re having their Annual Winter Frost Shopping Event, where regular priced items are 25%, there’ll be $20, $30, and $40 sale racks, as well as $5-$20 sale baskets. All hearts – forget big pop up shops (you know what I’m talking about!) and think local.

I have been trying to find a mascara that would bring life to my otherwise lifeless and short eyelashes. Time after time, I would buy $7-$10 mascaras and fail miserably. A friend of mine even told me that even his eyelashes were longer and fuller than mine (and mind you, this friend was a boy).

Thankfully, I was introduced to Sephora’s Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara. Though it has a rather bizarre shape, it gives you the entire 360 degree lash treatment! Because it’s designed to grip every lash starting at the roots, it curls and extends your lashes – with precision.

In other words, it’s heaven to my short eyelashes.
