Deals, deals, deals. Everywhere I turned at the Toronto Star WagJag + Jaunt.ca holiday showcase there were trinkets, delights, and sometimes even sparkles. For those who are not familiar, WagJag is hosting a Holiday Shoppe where a healthy number of past vendors have agreed to put their deals back on, exclusively to WagJag. Featured vendors were on display at this event – here are some of the picks below.

Origaudio is a Canadian company with a big heart. From portable speakers (similar to dare-I-say, shox?) to loud and fantastically clear…these speakers pack something good for awhile. Re: The Rock-It product are speakers that can turn anything hollow into a speaker. Versatile, and pretty brilliant.

Gloria’s first paraffin wax treatment – great for the hands and part of a medical grade spa / esthetics treatment. Definitely recommended for winter hands suffering from a little cold weather drying. The fun part? Being wrapped in saran wrap waiting for the wax to seal in the moisture. And it’s kind of hilarious to have saran wrap mitts.

A little longboarding from Plunder Ventures. While I didn’t dare jump on top of it, I had fun learning about the product and key components of what makes a sweet longboard. That and the fact that it can be a viable source of transportation (maybe not for me all the way uptown to downtown…but you know what I mean). Tristan (pictured) also offered feather quills for giveaways. Just because writers can have that Shakespearean flare (wink).
It’s the year of the Bargainista holidays they call it – people looking for a steal of a deal and maybe not with all of the fancy trimmings. WagJag’s holiday shoppe is great for those who don’t want to break the bank, but want to give WOW factor and be thoughtful. Oh – what’s more? You can also gift budget giveaways. I’m headed to the Old Mill Inn this weekend courtesy of Jaunt.ca. Can’t wait to review and share my experience.
Happy Holidays!
I love the north face just wish it was more in my price range
