Simple, modern, cool without trying too hard, fashion forward without being flashy… these were my initial thoughts when I first saw an ad for Adidas’s newest brand, SLVR. The best part of SLVR’s first collection are the sharp, structured silhouettes that somehow still manage to have a relaxed, casual feel to them. It seems like an oxymoron, but one need only look at SLVR’s hooded parka, biker jacket, or ribbed cardigan dress to understand. While each piece holds a distinct shape, it’s also clear that each allows the wearer ease of movement and the flexibility to adjust sleeves, hems, and closures.
