agnès b me

Hey, if it’s got an accent on the name then it automatically exudes a foreign mystique. Stemming from Paris, this designer was first discovered in a flea market decked out in thrift store-chic. From Junior Editor to Fashion Designer and Entrepreneur, Agnès Troublé gave birth to a wide product assortment drawing from inspirations of film noir. The description of her accomplishments seems to be summed up in a nutshell, dropping company names such as Seiko and L’Oréal as benchmarks for her accomplishments. However, the agnès b line was not conceived without menial labour. As a result of her apprenticeships, personal hardships, and disheartening starting sales, she has managed to establish shops in London, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Los Angeles, with more to open in Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, and Singapore. How’s that for thrift-store style gone international?
I absolutely love it when designers incorporate true culture into their design and branding - it really says something about their experiences and their passion for the beauty industry. Nothing screams well-versed more than a designer that knows what they want to present to the world.
I apologize for the down time in the posts - I’ve been too busy making the most of store discounts/making new monays/sitting in class wondering what the foreign professor is babbling about/eating veggie chips/stealing free pens.
