I’m more than ecstatic: one of my favourite summer activities is in full swing – and it’s getting some tasty treatment this year, thanks to American Express.
It’s Summerlicious! (A girl’s gotta eat and a girl’s gotta eat well).
At the risk of assuming, and for those that are unfamiliar with Summerlicious, the culinary celebration is essentially a period where otherwise expensive restaurants in our fine city open up their doors and drop their prices. The prix fixe menus featured during Summerlicious typically run from $25-$45. So it’s a means for the foodie to get even foodier, and allows everyone in Toronto to head out and enjoy an incredible meal at an incredible price (while it’s nice out to boot!)
This year, Amex says that it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. The company is looking to surprise and delight patrons at select Summerlicious restaurants throughout the city – just don’t forget their promo code #Amexlicious.
If you’re heading out to enjoy stellar meals for a steal – and bring your Amex Card – you just might end up taking part in added giveaways and savoury experiences (not to worry: I’ve been told that those without an Amex card can still jump in on the fun!)
So where’s my stop on the dinner train? Hint: La Maquette on July 20 might be a good starting point – it’s an ambiance-filled French bistro at 111 King Street E. And for more #Amexlicious hints, check out facebook.com/AmericanExpressCanada
Book a dinner reservation at La Maquette now for July 20 and we’ll have a night out on the town. Or at least inside, basking in delicious delights.
