Sipping on Ethos water in one hand and a Starbucks skinny vanilla latte in the other, perched on a stark white chair in the middle of the gorgeous ~h20+ store in the Eaton Centre, I thought to myself today that I can’t believe how lucky I’ve been in the past year. It’s not everyday that someone gets to meet the CEO of a company, attend great events, and get to know some incredible talent within the city.

2008-2009 was a difficult but necessary transition, but now that things are slowly but surely rising up again. I have such an incredible appreciation for the opportunities that I’ve had with this blog, the writing opportunities that I’ve had, and the amount of online and social media knowledge that I’ve absorbed. A year ago today I was still working in branch at a downtown bank location and curious as to what I would do in my life after university.
