Where did the keyboard go?

Blackberry users (or should I say Crackberry users) are known to covet their beloved device. The clicking of the plastic keyboard as you type up an e-mail; the rattling of the pearl as you scroll; the variety of colours to match your lifestyle; and that urge to check your phone even though you know it hasn’t vibrated. The Blackberry has definitely become a companion that once owned, one wonders how can you ever live without it.

No matter how sexy the iPhone touchscreen device may be, you remain loyal to your Blackberry. Well, the wait is almost over. The Blackberry Storm is coming to town. This 3G touchscreen phone is sleek with high resolution display, expandable memory, and it’s an overall sleek looking device. It provides all the coolness of a touchscreen phone, and the reliability of a Blackberry you have come to known and love. An application store will also be introduced by Blackberry, allowing you to download games, productivity tools and more.

Be warned Rogers and Bell subscribers, because the Storm will initially be available only on the Telus network. But if there is any consolation, the Blackberry Curve looks like it is getting revamped, and should be on sale soon.
