I made mention of blo dry bar in the last post, here’s the full coverage of my visit to the Yonge+Eglinton location (2594 Yonge St). I was greeted by bright whites and cheerful pinks. A lush setup inclusive of beautiful tufted white chairs (that I could swear are from Casalife), blo bar’s appearance was a surefire foreshadowing of a good styling experience.

From the custom product (exclusive to the salon) to a playlist (from a hot pink ipod of course) that would mirror that of my own musical tastes, it was seamless presentation.

blo is a concept that stemmed from Vancouver – a blow dry bar that provides impeccable styling in 30 minutes for $31 (they call it the blo n go). In their words, it’s “affordable, catwalk-quality hair”. There are 7 styles in their hair menu (I think that’s representative of yummy frocks).

Check out the photos after the jumpy for more on the store (yeah, rhyming is my life). Oh, and I’ll try to get some photos up of the hair…but I’m slightly embarrassed to say that wind+my hair+lots of manual labour = not so styled. I love you though, blo!

> btw, thank you so much Hilary and Devon!

Wish I had a chance to admire it a bit more – your hair did look lovely – loose, face-framing curls. Nice work, Blo.
