They’re iconic, they’re revered, they’re animated, they’re here. In Toronto. Finding its new home at the Princess of Wales Theatre, the Blue Man Group has created a fascinating medley of music, performance, art, and slapstick comedy (well, for me…being wrapped in a clear poncho on a hot day in the historic theatre…anticipating twinkie drivel shot out from the stage constitutes as slapstick).
Run on sentences aside, I’m thinking that this is one of the most fantastically entertaining shows I’ve seen in awhile. Happily perched in AA, Miss @Kimberly_Mae (newly returned from Ibiza and other European explorations) and I giggled and gasped at each event occurring only several elevated feet above us. 90 minutes of non-stop suspense, hilarity, and cultural satire unfolded before our eyes.
The best part? Audience interaction. Involuntary participants, late comers, and a curly haired boy who willingly let himself get strapped and used as a human paint brush…all were brought to live in the performance.
The show is only running from July 19th-30th here, so please please please I urge you to go see this more than marvelous array of blue entertainment. All I can say? Smiles for miles. Oh yes, and there was confetti.

i highly recommend this show – what a blast! ps – must try snack for the show: toblerone shortbread cookies….YUM!
