I suppose that’s the start but it’s what comes to mind. Happy New Year all! To an eventful 2012 – to growth, happiness, and lots of good cheer.

Yup, this girl ain’t being politically correct. But Merry Christmas wonderfuls! May it be merry and bright. I could go for some xmas caroling right about now.

Life as of lately has been full of surprises. Much of the unexpected, new situations, new personal challenges, and overall the resounding theme is change. The last year has been one of the most exhilarating and challenging ones. From an incredible amount of travel, speaking, blogging, access, car driving (learning manual – one of my minor goals in life), considerations…and most recently a job change (this blogger’s got a day job). I’m excited and massively proud of what’s happened in the mere last 12 months.

Everything around me is shifting and I’m shifting everything around me. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

You might be wondering where I’ve been…and I have too. The site’s been down for a few days and for some reason I’m not able to access the tool at home. Sooo. Here I am posting something impromptu for you. Lots of posts to come – I went to a gifting suite, Little Burgundy launch event, and a few other wicked feats. Some backdated items from LGFW (yikes!) and a whole lot of new acquisitions. Thanks for your patience – you are missed, bloc-sters!

Did you wonder? Maybe about why I didn’t write or call much, why I seemed ‘different’ and detached? It’s because I’ve been away a lot this summer, and working on so much else other than just straight blogging. I’ve really missed it though. I realize it when I start writing again and taking original photos. It’s something that I’m passionately attached to, and deathly afraid of losing.

Pictured above is a quick snap in Malibu. I could use some time in the sun here. I’m feeling refreshed, and ready to get back into it.
