I haven’t been around much lately – apologies, apologies, I can’t seem to do it enough. And I’ll tell you why I’ve been a disappearing act. Amidst the abundance of writing, meeting with amazing people, and running around the city non-stop, I haven’t been much good at documenting.
First bit: SCION is coming to Canada – they make cool, customizable cars and are best known for their xB models (which Miss Lisa drives). Which takes me to the next point – LMC enlisted me to help with writing for the up and coming SCION Magazine, which hits soon-to-be dealerships and events in September. All to happy to have zipped off to Vancouver to help produce some written pieces and stuff ourselves silly with not only Swag and Tarts, but good Japanese food. Top photo is for the kind folks at Beyond that lent me this sweet car for a week to drive around and around to promote the upcoming release. Needless to say, this has me loving the idea of getting a carbon fiber hood, and tricked out rims (which I have affectionately started calling “REEEYMS”).
Below? A photo of the ever-so-awesome girls Patricia J and Lisa. Once I get my hands on a print copy I’ll show you guys what the spread ended up looking like.
Thanks so much to the amazing people that have helped me bustle along the way this summer. There’s still so much to tackle – I’m off to NYC next week and shortly after will be chatting up TEDxToronto. Till next post, keep cool.

Lately I seem to be doing everything but blogging – and I apologize (hmm, can’t seem to do so enough these days). The daily posting isn’t too far off the horizon, but everything from my day job to living life has been a pleasant interruption. In the next month or so you’ll be seeing some of the writing work that I churned out for Scion Magazine, you’ll be able to catch some pictures + upcoming clothing swap stuff that involves a Scion (I’m test driving one for now – nice!) and a lot of photos and posts from my amazing writers. What’s more is getting together with someone that will hopefully help me turn the site around visually (it’s been like this a little too long).
So my ask? Be a little patient, there’s a big reorganization coming. Best!

Thanks to everyone that sent a message / tweet / text / email / did a phoner / wished this girl a happy day of birth. You make me feel warm and fuzzay inside. Posts to come soon, I’ve been too busy celebrating aging.
I’m always apologizing. And this time it’s legitimate as I’ve managed to disappear and be off-blog for about five days (though I’m sure you enjoyed the last post which was by the awesome Abby on Alexa Chung. Lucky me had the chance to be a regular girl just meeting and hanging out with amazing people, learning how to get more and more inspired. Hopefully you’ll see it channeled here soon.
See you in a day’s time, until next blog.

If I didn’t mention previously, the lull was due to being in Vancouver again for 2010 (oo, a little rhyming action). Lucky me got to tag along with Miss LMC to attend some great events and eat at some great places for the upcoming SCION Magazine (oui, the car is indeed heading for Canada in the early fall). Mucho excited I am, as I was able to do some writing (first love), eating (the second) and photo-taking (the third). More on the happenings of Van city to come. Swag and Tarts, here we come!
