UrbanOutfitters likes to spam me, and I like it when they spam me good. That way I get to learn that apparently I have a knack for picking up things prior to them being popular (like that time that I bought into the corset belt and everyone gave me funny looks. They were right.)
Regardless, this one was a good vote of confidence that the lomo lifestyle is re-emerging (about time those out of whack photos came back).
The premise? Lots of plastic and strange effects as a result of them …

Wrestling with cell phone housing and destroying two buttons is worth it. Especially when the housing doesn’t work as well as you thought, and is designed so poorly that a third button becomes a casualty, all for the name of style.
My phone blows for now, but getting rid of the 2 inch crack across my screen makes it all worth it. Check the semi-pimped, urbanebloc-brand-inclusive phone that I’m now toting.
Does anyone know a good cell phone repair man?

I think it’s pretty disgusting how high-end fashion houses seek other outlets to present new levels of exuberance. First there was the gold D&G phone, now Dior is hellbent on introducing their own clamshell wonder this summer. The regular exclusive model will retail for about 3,500 Euros (well over $5,000 CAD/US) and the diamond-studded, “higher-end” phone with an alligator sheath enclosure will surpass 18,000 Euros (over $27,000 CAD/US).
Economy Japanese Car vs. 1 Elaborate Cellphone? Oh yeah, bet’s on the handset.

I’ve been thinking heavily about investing in a blackberry sometime soon (frugal fashion fiend aside), in order to keep up with my never ending to do lists and my neglected email inbox.
The new Blackberry Bold is now on prominent display - the most notable difference being the glamorized hardware (satin chrome bezel and leather-like backing). The Bold boasts extremely functionality in a portable frame.
What’s so great about this Crackberry anyway?

624 MHz processor
A half-VGA (480 x 320 resolution) color LCD
1GB of on-board storage
Bluetooth 2.0
2-megapixel camera with video recording capability, built-in …

In relation to my Macbook Air post/semi-rant, I somehow found a hilarious webpage with the breakdown of what Steve Jobs was wearing for one of his recent keynote speeches.

I didn’t just say that for the sake of demonstrating my rap-star abilities. And I was there for the release…if you count sitting in class refreshing the Apple website frantically waiting for the images of Macbook Air to be released on their website.
In case you’ve been oblivious to everyone’s MSN names and to every news source online, the Macbook Air laptop was released Tuesday, January 15, 2008. The laptop has been introduced as the world’s thinnest laptop with unmatched functionality and innovation. It’s fresh, it’s thin, it’s gorgeous, and it’s …

Merry Christmas to me - I received an ipod Nano 3rd generation. What’s missing? A case to appease my neurotic electronic-control-freak ways. I simply cannot function without having protective materials for my expensive tech goods, so I wait to use them until the purchase of a case.
It’s actually surprisingly hard to find cute Nano 3g cases online. I managed to stumble upon a couple, but could definitely use some recommendations.
Here’s what I came up with:

I purchased the Kroo Case from Ebay and I’m waiting for it to arrive. Does anyone …

After the announcement of the price slash for the 2 month new Apple iPhone, the keynote speech by Steve Jobs has also conceived the release of the next generation in the iPod Nano and the iPod Classic. These gorgeous pocket-sized beauties have captured my heart - new features include video, bright display, anodized metal (scratch resistant), an enhanced interface on the Nano, and FIVE NEW COLOURS. The iPod Classic boasts its new interface, design, as well as larger harddisk space.
I purchased my Nano two years ago upon its first …
