San Francisco-based company Gold & Citrus is taking accessorizing to a whole new level with their collection of luxurious body jewelry. A perfect fit for the fashionably creative, these playful pieces are as versatile as they are stunning. Wear the body jewelery in multiple ways to achieve your desired look - as a long strands necklace to add glamour to any outfit, or neck to waist for a full body boho-chic look. All pieces are made with the best materials and mix the more traditional (gold chains, beads, gemstones) with the more experimental (feathers, studs, antique sequins)

“Saving women from their beloved damn heels.”
No matter what, there’s something still too primitive about a barefooted beauty in the wee hours of the morning after a night chock full of dancing. Here’s an in for innovative concepts like Damn Heels and earlier posted cazz. Foldable ballerina flats are our saviours for stilettos – they’re a compact and wildly affordable product that have entered the fashion-inclined markets. Essentially flats that stem from an easy-to-pick menu (three sizes – S-M-L and in a small range of colours). Damn Heels brings some …

Plastic bags are so 2009. Aside from the damage they do to our environment (the nerve!), who loves digging around for a nickel when making a purchase? And while there is no shortage of reusable corporate-branded hemp bags to choose from, who says being green has to be so dull?
Thank goodness for Credo Bags, a Canadian-made, reusable eco-shopping system. Based in Montreal, these cute and clever totes are as eco-friendly as they come. From bag design, to spinning and weaving the yarn, to finishing, Credo Bags keeps a close eye …

TNA by Aritzia is jumping on the Canadiana themes of pretty much every Canadian company out there, just in time for the Olympics. And while I’m not one to be blatantly decked out in red and white as so many have been subjecting themselves to as of late, this has me curious enough to run in stores and ogle. Yes, ogle – maybe even a little touching.
More Olympics-ness coming soon (because hey, despite this commentary being carefully tinged with sarcasm, I’m still hella Proud to be Le Canadian).

KOR ONE – Water Redesigned. This arrived on my radar at just the right time – right after buying my second Starbucks water-glass, it was recalled with good reason. In came the KOR water bottles, a slick and beautiful collective of vibrant water bottles, and a feature-filled product. Benefits? Plentiful:
Made from BPA-free Tritan, health-safe materials
Hinged cap for easy open and close (no cap to hold when drinking!)
Threadless, perfect sized spout (unlike screw?on caps, you won’t feel like you’re drinking from a water hose)
Does not retain or impart …
Denim, Something New, Would You Wear It? »
Boyfriend Jeans? That was so 2009. This year, the spotlight’s on Fidelity Denim’s new collection of vintage western and Boyfriend Shirts for Spring 2010. While I admit that the idea of a denim shirt frightened me at first, the button-ups soon won me over with their cool, rugged, laid-back look that any boyfriend-shirt-wearing girl would appreciate. The shirts come in 2 different styles and 7 different washes – my personal faves are the the Louis in Crude, and the Ted in Ombre. Just pair …

I glimpsed EZRA Constantine at the Greta Constantine show in Fall 2009 at un-fashion week. Welcome the new line – it’s the official launch for Spring/Summer 2010, shot by Mckenzie James. It’s dark, it’s gang-oriented (no, really), dark, hostile, contemporary, dark, utilitarian, and…dark. They call the pieces “pieces that form the uniform for the man of tomorrow”. I probably wouldn’t mind that if the wearer looked like these models.
Boys, thoughts?

Sweet enough to eat and all that jazz – Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and my email inbox is being blasted with some delectable treats. In the past year I’ve become a pretty big Upper Canada Soap fan, as they not only create really unique products (like All About Hands’ Avocado Cream), but do it in such an attractive way. Love the way that this Body Truffles line has been merchandised in their product shots.
Have a read through their starry-eyes worthy products:

Sweet shoes that are street savvy. They call it CIPHERISM – a new Hong Kong based luxury lifestyle shoes. With emphasis on sharp, contrasted black and whites, sophisticated lines. Back to the basics, if you will. Except with memory foam insoles (niiice). Comes in three major styles; Seditionary, Subterranean, and Libertine. The draw? They’re presented in a way that’s so slick, I wouldn’t mind wearing a pair out and about (sure beats the mass market Vans and Chucks).
Here’s their official blurb:
CIPHER is an international urban lifestyle brand offering luxurious lifestyle …
