Geeky me in the Ashlee dress from the Lauren Conrad Collection paired with a Rudsak waistbelt. Thank you to Jenna from LC’s PR camp, I adore this dress – it helps me get all dressed up with no where to go (for now). Watch out – come spring / summer I’m hella out and about again. 2009 is donzo remember? I’m back and better than ever.
Speaking of beautiful spring, The Lauren Conrad Collection Spring Line is out – I’m squeemish over the Blaire dress (it’s a low back white number – stunning!)
PS. Happy Friday 13th, <3 love.

I’m in love with a stri–I mean scarf. Scarf. That’s right – this 100% wool beaut found its way into my hands after the holidays, and I’m so thankful. It took me a little while to figure out what the print was (and even so, I didn’t figure it out on my own), but it’s a scarf in collabo with Robin Cameron (or Ro Camm as she has deemed herself with le website). Drawings, photography, and some artistic soulistic items are housed on her site, so give it a go. I’m not typically one for a light cream scarf, but this one definitely works. Love!
Want a better picture of it? Hint hint: showcasing my stuff is coming. In an inexplicably wonderful form. You gets it?
One of my latest and greatest finds has been this messenger bag from alice+olivia (love their brand, their website could…use a lot of work because it’s just a picture of a trampoline). Regardless, this lovely thang is being strung from my shoulder until I get my hands on a coveted purse (which I will disclose later…for fear of judgement).
Like or love or….just not into it? Share!

As you may or may not have noticed – urbanebloc now has some fancy little decorations on the sides of the main content. This is…my attempt at festiving things up, just because I’ve been caught in such a massive whirlwind of work, life and happenings.
Promise you now that I will be committed to writing you dear entries and that we will be in touch….and…..GO!
First order of business, I have to say that I have a major all-star m-ger (yes, decipher that) who gifted me with something I needed extremely badly: SOCKS! They’re not just any socks, they happen to sparkle and shimmer with the Betsey Johnson logo and the iconic face. Now I can finally retire my sparkle-reindeer-grip socks that I purchased on a whim in Unionville from a Talbots-esque store. They go smashing with my Betsey Johnson bag!
While I still haven’t figured out how to actually pronounce the name properly (Weiner or….Whiner?), I’ve been lucky enough to receive the Handcuff Lariat (Brass) necklace. It was a tad difficult to figure out how to actually wear it, but at long last it has made it so worth it.
With an extensive artistic background, Erica Weiner works closely with a friend by the name of Lindsay Salmon (insert another name joke here), and they travel the country for unique materials to create her original line. Mixing together vintage styles and natural pieces, her line boasts quality that’s still affordable (though I beg to differ, a few of the pieces are a little more up there).
I’m crazy about handcuffs now because of her take – thanks E.W.!
