I’ve been coveting pretty much everything on the Pandora website since picking this up at the Tastemakers Gift Lounge at TIFF. I feel like I’ve been MIA…but this is something that’s going to bring me back (just a little). I’ve got bundles and oodles and tonnes of things to share. Watch out blog-world, I’m comin’ back for you (cue dramatic homecoming music).

I had an incredible time in San Francisco – my second time in four months (yup, I’m a lucky girl and I know it). This time around it was for work and not-so-leisure. Had an opportunity for my day job to speak at a conference called DreamForce, something all shades of techy pertaining to cloud computing and social media (or as they call it, the social enterprise).
Took a step back to realize how incredible and fortunate this life is. The opportunity to make money, travel, meet lots of fantastic people, and generally be smiling. Only big toothy ones that is. Life has been a congestion of the phenomenal and a bevy of the best. Can’t ask for much more, really. Big thanks to Radian6 for having me at the conference.
Thanks so much for continuing to stick by the blog, this girl’s motivation is skyrocketing.

Hi Friends. Gloria here. I’ve been MIA because I’ve been prancing in a field in rain boots while having ants and black flies scurry on me (yikes). Went for some photos about Tech avec Titus Chan yesterday and have some really fun photos to share with you all soon. Hoping that they get set up on an undisclosed media site shortly after mon article is done.
Holding a few events coming up soon, hopefully you’ll join. In the meantime, tweet me a little something @urbanebloc or Like it up at Facebook.com/urbanebloc. Cheerio!

Finishing up on the summer breeze series – photos by Titus Chan. I acquired these shoes in Las Vegas for a ridiculous $39.99 (un-patent leather, folks). Probably one of the most comfortable shoes to get up and running in, in no time. Patterned sole, candy apple red, semi-caged, buckle ankle. Doesn’t get too much more summer stylish (and we’re not venturing into the realm of espadrilles, oh no).
We found this tree in the middle of no where and decided it made for a good display. Thoughts?

Welcome to my shoe collection – or at least the latest of. These GEOX loafers / boating shoes / moccasins (let’s be honest here, it’s a hybrid being) have taken the cake for me. Soft, water resistant nubuck, sparkling tassles, comfort, and ability to pair with near everything (that’s right, these pups have been worn with a dress. A summer one – stop judging).
They were a splurge when dashing through a Brown’s one day – these and some Michael Kors clogs. Work shoes are increasingly difficult to find and keep for extended periods of time, so a spend was in order. And like a shining beacon of light, these little flats came peering out from the mess of sales racks that screamed “buy one get 25% off your second!”
What do you guys think? Good-buy?
