Choosing between fashion and a sustainable future has just got a little easier.  The earthly conscious minds at Reveal have come out with something that’s pretty swanky.

Loathe and behold Reveal’s Luxury Bamboo watch. Made from natural bamboo and handcrafted, this timepiece will sure have your bling bling sounding like thump thump (sound of wood; yeah, i know, a little lame). Its Japanese movement, tenacious structure, and eco-friendliness will definitely add a little uniqueness to your wardrobe.   Not to mention, it comes with it’s very own handmade natural bamboo box.

Do remember …

Lately I’ve been absolutely obsessed with the likes of ApartmentTherapy.com and hurriedly flipping through furniture catalogues. And so nothing quite gets me as internally riled up about  great new accessories or stylish items for the home. LEXON’s bamboo accessory line has made me more than happy to marvel. It’s a semi-new (okay, a little old because I took so long to post about it) line that boasts usage of renewable powered energy and corn bio-plastic with bamboo trim. Would you, would you? Any favourites?

I suppose I should have somewhat known better – what good are headphones when they come from what looked to be a zip lock bag, were 2/$25 at Pacific Mall, and make some kind of questionable cracking noises when adjusting the soft ear pieces? A nice Gadget Girl Fail. Serves me right for dilly dallying into a store looking for a micro USB car charger, and moseying out with two pairs of headphones.

Lesson? If it’s too good to be true, it’s probably fake. Well foiled Pac Mall.

Who doesn’t like to be a winner? Trip for two to Los Angeles to go on a $5,000 shopping spree with Jason Derulo (aka guy known for sampling Imogen Heap and singing a repetitive song about things in your head…a really catchy one at that). The contest comes alongside the announcement of le new phone, LG Shine Touch, the newest 3G offering from LG. I like slim builds. And having just come from Vegas, I’m digging the idea of heading to LA.

Enter at LG.ca/POP.

It’s a share from miss Rayanne, thanks!

A Virgin…Mobile party. Solid – an abundance of red, non-virginesque images, fashion integration (engaging local designers to create themed dresses that were master pieces), logo image pillows, hilarious tag lines, hipster dance parties, and of course, Jay Sean. All in all, the Virgin Mobile event at the Berkeley Church (Queen East) was an absolutely stunning good time. All they really needed to sell me were the fancy pillows rather than the fancy drinks (though the Blackberry themed one wasn’t half bad). Enjoyed the scantily clad girls AND boys, alongside the …

While I haven’t yet convinced myself to jump on the bandwagon for HD TV as I’m sure the majority of the male population has, I can convince myself that music is worth it. I’ll admit to being a new formed car-and-home music addict, so much so that I won’t let the wheels turn until there’s something blasting through the speakers that’s drive-worthy. In comes HD Radio.

Raise your hands if you still listen to radio in the car – because there’s one flailing in the air right now on my end. …

Tivoli looks like slick sound from the aesthetic alone. If you’re in the exploratory mood and want to stray away from big brands like Bose, consider Tivoli Audio. While the pricing is a tad higher (comparable to Bose), the products are a new take on function and lifestyle. Despite just recently getting off the market for an iPod dock for home, the iPal and other portable audio devices have me starry eyed.

Can’t…stop…yelling. But at least it’s hands free. Thanks to Chris I’m the proud owner of this hands free car-clipped blue tooth speakerphone, so I no longer have to fumble while driving or…just not answer for hours. And makes for a lot of: “Hey that girl’s crazy she keeps talking to the sky, freak”.

A product of late-night Wal-Mart visiting from holiday season, this wicked device makes for the perfect addition to the Fashion Tech Section of urbanebloc.com (yeah yeah, always thinking content). For under $80.00, this was an easy-install (literally clip-pair-use). …

Tis a new look for an aging phone. Got bored one day so I ended up getting a new housing (extra extra chipped bezel I had before). Here it is – the backing is white too (a leathery texture, though I’m certain it’s not real).

Reminds me of my old Nokia phone (which I absolutely loved) and when I replaced it’s housing to make it more “urbanebloc-ish”. Now all I need is a good dongle to fob-ify it.

I’m all for attractive audio – that’s why I think ipod fever is catching on so strong. An edgier alternative to the otherwise seemingly generic ipod earbuds, would be Skull Candy audio accessories. I can still remember vividly how I got introduced to these. It was when an entire Chinese university class was fighting over buffet-style food displays and lost amidst all the people, I spotted headphones my friend was donning with a skull splashed onto them. A cute skull.

“What brand is that?”

Then he tipped his head downwards for me …
