I posted this up on Facebook and have probably watched it eight times since. There’s something amazing about the staging of the video (the antique-ish furniture) and parade of merchandise that gives me the urge to take a plunge. Savings has never been so hard with fall and winter coming. Expect more posts that gush about everything between infinity scarves to cognac purses.

I was forwarded this video from ROOTS and loved every last moment captured in it. From the lighting to the gorgeous clothes (yes, I managed to utter that out in relation to ROOTS – gone are the days of mere sweat pants and logo-emblazoned sweaters), I couldn’t help but stay riveted to this video filmed in Newfoundland. I want, I want.

Call me overly pop-saturated, but this girl is just great. Bubbles? Balloons? YES.

It’s all too incredible to see what unique ideas and visionaries can accomplish. Take Sheena from The Uniform Project, a girl that decided to wear the same little black dress for a year (7 identical dresses to rotate through the week) in order to raise money for children to go to school. A pinch of whimsy, a tad bit of ingenious, and a whole lot of creativity and drive was precedent for some sort of amazing. Watch the video – the whole way through. You’ll be amazed, just a little.

It’s not Canada Day any longer (we’re way past due), but I can’t say no to a good old fashioned patriotic stop motion. Thanks J. Ashar for the share.

This girl is my hero – if you’re not aware of her already, she’s le Fashion Toast’s Rumi Neely. I dig her way much for my own good (hey – if I could be someone in 5 years, this would be her).

Though seemingly the image that emanates the “art scene”, The Creators Project is a community that has been created to foster the arts (in collaboration with Intel and VICE Magazine).

The Creators Project has two mandates: on one hand it’s a modern day media channel that we will continually identify and celebrate the work of visionary artists wherever they are. On the other hand it is also a content creation studio, an arts foundation of sorts that will facilitate the production and dissemination of new work with these artists and their …

Say, I’m not Star Wars enthusiast, but this has proven to be a solidly entertainment few minutes. In promotion of their new line (click click), Adidas has put together this hilario clip that’s getting some major sharing on the interwebs. Watch for yourself.

I’m feeling nice and guilty in watching this and enjoying it – but it’s one of those mini reminders that even trashy / poor quality clothing can seduce you through the art of merchandising. I adore. Shamelessly, I’ve been on the hunt for questionably great pieces from my local Urban Planet Outlet. Don’t judge too much, I hear it gives you wrinkles and impaired fashion sense.

I can’t believe this video exists – nice Foot Locker, nice. Boys – would you?
