Last year it was a revisit to the GAP Classic White Shirt, which I was able to snag the ThreeASFOUR edition dress version (wore it to my convocation – huzzah), this year it’s all about the khaki (remember we talked a little about it earlier?). I’m in love with the Vena Cava dress remakes, and the Alexander Wang shorts (prints and pleats are epic for summer 2009).
Take a look for yourself – the Alexander Wang Motorcycle Jacket is already sold out (the image has been removed from the GAP website).

Thank god. I was becoming very concerned for Gap’s (and Gap Inc.’s) future. The company has made some very interesting changes lately, and I think it’s paying off (from the Banana Republic side, too – there were a couple seasons there were half the lines seemed to be composed of items that brought to mind one question – ‘What were they thinking’?) Love the pleated shorts. Do you know the distribution of such items? Will it be higher level stores only, or will such product be available relatively extensively?
Gap has been redeeming itself in my eyes, in the last year or two I’ve found some goods there! There’s a list on the gap.com site when you look under design editions, there’s a listing there. Are you in Calg (I’m sorry I can’t remember!)? If so, it’s at Chinook (:
I think it’s mostly at higher end malls, I know here it’s not widely available. I haven’t gone to visit them yet, I hope they still have sizing!
Calgary, yes. Not a big fan of Chinook, but they do have the nicest Gap in the city. :) Will definitely go check it out their summer stuff.
