I recently underwent some changes in my product assortment and day to day arsenal (I’m not about to call them beauty products. Though that’s pretty much what they are – it’s just no fun to say). While in Vegas I ditched the Conair dryer that I purchased while in Vancouver a year plus ago for the Olympics (that Sears dryer did me good), and by the time I got home I nearly finished all of my favourite
John Frieda Volumizing Shampoo. My consolation? The fact that Conair and John Frieda have joined forces to create something sort of brilliant –
the first ever styling tools from John Frieda.

Paddle brushes, and John Frieda loose CURLS curling iron (1 1/2 barrel) are the starter items that John Frieda has created in partnership with
Conair. I was near delirious when I saw it all bundled together. Having been a volume fiend, I couldn’t help but get overtly excited about this new offering.
Unfortunately I missed the launch because I was away on vacation – realizing that it was at the Shops on Don Mills had me even more antsy (love that place, I’m quite certain I have dreams about it), and seeing the product in person pushed me over the top (when I was already teetering).
Keep your eyes and hairs peeled (actually, skip the hairs – no split ends on my clock) for these products in stores now. Smile!
* Thanks so much to Conair and Rock It Promo for sending them over for review. I distinctly remember a cottage visit where my galpals and I had so much fun testing it all out. You make me experiment..and in turn, more feminine (phew).

Hey Jenn,
Try Walmart! They have quite a few of the pieces there and they’re affordable ;)
Thanks for posting this!
I need to get a new curling iron. Mine took a vacation somewhere I have no idea where…lol

Gel Gel Gel Spiky Hair…
I’m a gel man, I tuft my hair and go on with my day.
wash and blow dry.
Wash and air dry hari.
My morning hair routine consists of untangling the rats nest that has formed on the top of my head. Then once that’s done I either flat iron it or use my cheap pharmacy curling iron to give it some curl. I’m sadly lacking in the hair volume department.
Bend at waist, shake head no, nod head yes, flip up, scowl ‘n go.
My morning hair routine is just getting my very fine very tangled hair brushed and most days through it up in a ponytail and add a small hairpiece to the ponytail.
If hair set up right the night before I just spray some curl product
Plug in my hair iron
Wash my hair
Moisturize my hair
Blow dry my hair a little bit
Straighten my hair
:)
Gel Gel Gel Spiky Hair
My morning routine is trying to tame my frizz away hair ..every day i condition and add multiple products, if I have enough time I will straighten my hair
I shampoo and condition my hair and let it dry naturally!
wash – mousse and put a hat on!
FLat iron it after blowdrying it.
My morning hair routine is wash & condition, add volumizing mousse, blowdry & curl.
I’m a wash-and-go kind of girl in the mornings. Anything for an extra 15 minutes of sleep!
Also, I liked Urbanebloc on FB (under Soph Yee).
It starts with a frantic scramble, after hitting the snooze button a few times. Followed by checking the clock every 30 seconds because it seems I have no sense of time in the morning. From there, I jump in the shower and throw gel in the hair and than it’s off to another joyful day at work :)
i wash and blow dry
Morning routine: Wash (Live Clean shamp/cond), blow dry with oval brush – no styling products! Keep it simple and healthy. Liked the FB page – Hope I win, thanks!
Wash & Condition then let air dry for maybe 15min while I do my make up and then I finish drying my hair and then I straighten it with my flat iron.

I wash my hair first thing every morning and I like you on Facebook; Thanks!
wash, blow dry and straighten
I wash my hair and condition it. Because my hair is short and very straight, I do not need to blow dry it
Usually my morning routine isn’t too crazy – if I’m up early enough I’ll straighten. If not, usually a cute braid or ponytail works – I spend more time if I’m going out after work!

i use flat iron spray on my dry hair , have my curling iron hot and ready and flat iron my hair each day. then i add some luster and shine and it is good for the whole day. as my hair is short, it does not take long each day.
Bumble and bumble surf spray after I shower and I let it air dry :D
my hair routine is just spritz with detangling lotion, brush and go! it’s usually a mess!! :(
My morning hair routine is usually wet hair, curl spray, scrunch, mousse, scrunch again. Using John Frieda products of course, love their hair products!
Wash and dry is my routine in the mornings. Like on FB as Huguette En
id love this!
wash and air dry
My morning routine is simple: wash, dry and go. I usually dry the roots with a blow-dryer and with brush out some knots, but I kinda like the messy look most days. But I’d be willing to get up early for big, loose curls!
I like to wash my hair in the evening. Come morning, I give it a once over brush with my boar hair brush and fasten my bangs with a bobby pin.
Great submissions everyone! Don’t forget that you have to LIKE the Facebook fan page in order to qualify :)
xo,

my morning routine isnt to fancy just straighten my hair, i like to wash it at night but my teenage daughter lol i am not sure what all she does but it sure takes her a longgg time, so i would love this for her
wash and air dry… i need the curler for my dog though
My mourning routine is to wash my hair and some styling gel and then blow dry and go…
I like you on facebook…
wash with jon freida volumizing shampoo and condition. Root spray and a quick blow dry. Now if i had this curling iron i would be giving this straight hair some much needed curl !!!!
I curl my hair everyday with a large curling iron. It smooths and gives more bounce than a straighterner.
depending on my mood, I will use a curling iron to create loose curls or comb and straighten my hair. Thanks, for the chance for winning a new curling iron.
My morning routine is wash and blow-dry. I will use some anti-frizz serum and that’s it …. out the door!
my wife would lvoe this
My morning hair routine involves washing and drying then…attempting to curl and swearing at my hair, adding more gel, and again trying to curl it while swearing some more….okay so now I sound like there is a lot of swearing in this routine. I think if I won such a great product from Conair, I may just be able to get through the morning with nothing but sweet and pleasant words…Thanks so much for the chance to win!
I also liked the URBANEBLOC.com Facebook page:-)
If I am going to work its a flat iron. If I am off work, it’s a ponytail
Flatiron if going to work. Curling iron and ponytail if day off.
my hair is growing out in length and i need a new style and a curling iron…great prize..good luck everybody
I hate doing my hair since it’s long and curly I just blow dry and give a few curls on top ! 5 minutes and voila it’s done !!
I whip my hair up into something quick, or just leave it down, on ambitious mornings I’ll curl it or straighten it depending on my mood. :)
I liked you on fb (Brandy I)
my morning hair routine is just pulling it back into a pony tail…rushing the kids off to school i have no time to style it! Or the proper tools for that matter!! This would help me out alot lol
I’d love to win!! Ack, since my curler broke I’ve been desperate! Currently my hair routine is shower before bed, hair in a few buns, waking up with beachy hair! Thanks so much for the chance!
Haven’t updated my curling iron for 20 years. Time for a new one!
Love these products! Great contest.
I like to make my hair curly every morning.. it looks amazing
I would be endlessly happy to get one and it will fit just fine in my morning hair routine-which is washing my hair and trying to tame it with a huge arsenal of hair products))Mmm,and using this curler and looking like a doll..sounds very tempting)
wash my hair (shampoo and condition) and let it dry naturally
remarkable curling iron!!!
Cool!My hair is very naughty!
Oh god my routine is shower shake and go…I would love to have tools to do more with my long hair!
Wash, condition, treat, blowdry and straighten. Every day.
It is very necessary thing, the dream of every girl to use it daily.
wash my hair (shampoo and condition) and let it dry naturally.Haven’t updated my curling iron for 25 years. Time for a new one!remarkable curling iron!!!
wash my hair, blow dry it and then straighten it but if I had this great tool I would curl instead.
I like to spike up my hair in the morning.
I comb my hair if it’s long enough, if not then i do nothing
Brush. Put in ponytail. I need more creativity with my hair!
Wash hair in the shower, towel dry, sue product, let air dry or stick it up in a clip.
Wash, blow dry with a round brush and I’m done :)
i wash my hair the night brfore bc i have alot of hair.. then blowdry it in the morning and then use my straighter to straight it.. its a process.. but looks wonderful and i feel good.
My hair is worst in the world
They need this device!
Wash, blow dry, flat iron then curl parts for texture. Would love this!!!!!!!
while i have short hair and dont have much to do to it my daughter has long hair that pretty much requires her to use a flat iron in the morning. I think she would just love this to make her hair! She has thick hair so it is hard to find something that would work for her!
blow dry and then flat iron
I have longer hair, so every morning I get up and put some argan oil at the roots, wrap it up in a towel and jump in the shower. Let the steam permeate the towel and then take the towel off and wash my hair. After, I towel dry and put a heat protector spray on and blow-dry without a brush (except on my bangs). Then depending on my mood, I either flatiron or curl! It’s a long process, but my hair is uber healthy!
On the morning of my head is going kashmar. Be sure to need in the hair styling hair. Unruly hair and fluffy. Straightener, curling irons, styling. And then I look good.
Wash, rinse, mousse, blowdry. Think, “not bad!”. 10 min later think, “WTF happened? It deflated!”. Put behind ears.
Comb, comb, comb, admire, brush, brush, comb, spray.
My morning routine:
Brush it, add some curls within an hour they are gone because my hair is too thin and my curling iron way too budget. End up with messy not so hot bed head.
Bend over, flip hair over forward, brush, shake, flip back.
Thanks Urbanebloc team for keeping entries open until March 31! Great for stragglers like me.
My morning hair routine is as follows:
1) Wash hair (yes, everyday)
2) Blowdry hair with some light styling as it dries
3) If I feel up for it, I use a straightening iron to smooth my hair and curl in the ends of my layers
I’m growing out a very short bob and I finally have enough length to use a curling iron!
Thanks for the giveaway!
My morning hair routine is wash and either scrunch with mousse to wear it naturally curly, or blow-dry with straightening lotion and a round brush, and then use a flat iron.
I use 3 different kinds of hairspray.. the bigger the hair the better.
Wash and blow dry..:-)
Most days I wash, blow dry and hair spray, if I don’t have time to curl my bangs.
I like you on facebook.Shari Dalton
my routine is just wake up, brush my hair, and a little bit of straightening, nothing too over the top.
First of, I do not wash my hair everyday..so I flip my head upside down, give it a quick few sencconds blow dry to give it some bounce then I carefully use a curling iron (my old one!) and take a few strands to make it look neater! I do have curly hair but the way I sleep, my hair can be very messy so by doing this, I keep it rammed.
My morning hair routine: wash and condition, Moroccanoil styling cream, rough blow dry and then finish by blowing dry with a round brush, then smoothing it all out with a straightening iron. I always do straight and it’d be nice to change things up with some curls!
I wash my hair, blow dry it and then straighten it with my flat iron.
1.Wake up look at hair
2.messy bed head, wet hands
3.run wet hands through bed head
4.attempt to straighten, fail
5.stare at bed head, start to brush teeth.
