Dreamy Eyelashes by Lynda Quach
Lynda is my Eyelash Maven – I’ve written about her in the past, absolutely raving about the quality and her technique, but here I am again to give you a deeper dive on how amazing I really think she is. Owner of Dreamy Eyelashes, this girl has got it going on when it comes to lashes that last, are literally weightless (I honestly can never feel them, and that’s a huge feat), and are applied so expertly you wouldn’t believe that they weren’t mine (though I’d really like to believe they are. Learn more about her after the jump.
There’s something about the process of eyelash extensions that seems to be daunting. You might figure they take awhile, that they’re a hassle to go and do…but it really and truly is painless with Lynda. Located downtown Toronto on Dundas, her space is personal, private, and perfect. I went with my friend Amanda, poster child of the STFUparty, and we chatted the night away while we took turns getting our lashes filled.
I received a mixture from 8-10mm lashes, and when applied look natural with a length that leaves you feeling great when you wake up with no make up, to when you head out without having to battle out tacky glue and strip lashes. Typically I brush them each morning, use Peptalash (a steal at Shoppers Drug Mart if you’re interested in an economical lash serum), and remove all of my makeup with either Almay’s eye make up pads or Lancôme’s BI-Facil with a cotton pad. They last for about 6 weeks before they start to look sparse…but I have never, ever felt that they didn’t hold up (and I’ve tried over 4 different lash spots).
