It’s that time of the year again! Time to submit if you’d like to be showcased at Toronto Alternative Fashion Week. Happens once a year in the springtime, FAT is a great production that puts local talent on display. The interesting thing about the event is how it ventures out into the non-traditional fashion show, but rather, is a massive array of music, installation, video, photography, and generally alternative fashion art forms. I love it because it truly opens your eyes to the non-traditional wares. Pieces that thrust you straight out of your comfort zone and commercial styling, to genuine fashion arts.
