Another week, another blogger, a new list! Here are five of my favourite things at the moment:

Vosges chocolate-bacon bar: I first stumbled upon Vosges’ delicious treats on a trip to NYC when I tried their curry ice cream. The bacon lover in me couldn’t resist trying the Milk Chocolate Bacon Bar and disappointed I was NOT. The bar doesn’t skimp on those little bits of Hickory-smoked bacon which you get with every bite, but it’s not so overpowering that it takes away from the sweet milk chocolate. It might also give you an excuse to finally eat chocolate for breakfast. The online shipping is outrageous, but Torontonians can find Vosges’ bars at McEwans.

OPI – My Chihuahua Bites: I find the task of choosing a nail polish a little overwhelming. (Yes, I fully acknowledge this is a first world problem, okay.) So when I find a colour I like, I stick with it for a whole season (or four). My Chihuahua Bites is no exception. When I discovered it last year, I thought it would be the perfect “summer colour”. It was so good that it lasted through fall and winter, too.

Marine Dress from Joe Fresh: It’s no secret I’m a huge Joe Fresh fan. I am, after all, Mayor of TWO Joe Fresh locations on Foursquare thanks to my weekly Fresh visits. I like that the clothes are stylish and trendy, but don’t break the bank. I’m all about stripes these days, so I’m sure this $30 Marine dress with a single red stripe was made just for me (thanks Joe Mimran).

Horse earrings from Biko Jewelry: I discovered Biko Jewelry while writing for this blog and was immediately drawn to Corrine Anestopoulos’ hand-crafted pieces. My first stop at last year’s One of a Kind Show was the Biko booth where I was thrilled to find these little brass Horse Studs I had been eyeing online. Whether I’m dressing up or keeping it casual, these studs have become a staple accessory.

Instagram: The very first app I downloaded after getting my iPhone was Instagram and it is undoubtedly still my favourite. My subpar photography skills don’t matter since nearly all of the filters can make any photo look 10x better and trick people into thinking the picture of your dad’s new chocolate fountain is actually really cool. Which it is.
