I wrote them into an article that I did for dose.ca, but I’m going to take more time to highlight what these guys are doing.
I think it’s amazing when Toronto artists design for Torontonians themselves – having that interconnectiveness makes me feel all fuzzy inside.
In all truthfulness, I think that what FORT Apparel has going for them is incredible – celebrities are wearing the shirts, the merchandise is selling off quickly, and it’s just great eye candy. I usually think streetwear (or street-wear “inspired”) is a bit cheese, but I’m liking the variety of the designs here. Get Toronto’s Freshest at stolen riches and lounge.
