When I was a kid, Baby-G watches and G-Shock watches were all the rage. It was the era of the Mini Disk, the air-pump Adidas shoes, and the light-up high-tops. All trends which I missed out on (thanks parents – I’ll never forgive you!) I kid. As tears stream down my disgruntled face. Anyway. I was delighted to see these watches offered at Urban Outfitters because it brought back so much nostalgia and reminiscing of more awkward days (notice I said more awkward days – I’m still awkward). It’s pretty hella cool how they offer them in these awful colours like fire engine red and some sort of army green. The watch on the right reminds me of a ninja turtle. Don’t ask, I won’t answer.

I used to have a baby G back in the day and loved it. From the look of it either their style has not changed or they are very retro
i have a funny story about the G-shock..people keep saying that they are shock proof won’t break so you throw them around and such. I did it a lot too, come on, they are g-shocks for a reason. haha. so one day my buddy who never heard of g-shocks was asking about them and not really into the whole not breaking thing, so my other friend wanted to show him the true power of g-shock. he smashed it on the floor not excepting it to break..BAM. there it goes, completely ruins the g-shock reputation. haha, super jokes. and i was a little kid when i had a g-shock!
AHHAHA what a terrible waste of money BK
retro is the new black I suppose, judy!
Very interesting blog. We’ll go to him more often.
