GAP Canada invited me to check out their collection after missing out on a media day (phew, this was a bit ago where I wasn’t able to keep my agenda nice and tidy). Like a twiggy girl in a pizza shoppe (kid in a candy store is a tired analogy), I was able to run amuck between the Banana Republic, Old Navy, and GAP Canada showrooms. Highlights:
- GAP: Faux fur hat, fantastic new footwear, and office-ready dresses at astoundingly affordable prices
- Banana Republic: Hands down, taken by the nautical inspired accessories. Never have I wanted to don a pin striped with navy and gold, complete with chains. Lovely. Also mentions: structured yet edgy jackets, soft basics, and interest richly coloured circle scarves (nice and unexpected)
- Old Navy: An abundance of goods – from toys to holiday inspired accessories, keychains, and fun jackets. I was happy to snag an amazing khaki double breasted coat with detachable faux fur. Photos to come (alongside some Carrera shades from ShadesDaddy.com).
Lots of yearn-worthy pieces in one concentrated space. Their flagship on Bloor in Toronto has an astounding amount of goods that you could wear from season and samples to come. I also recently popped by the Queen Street store to partake in a ridiculous sale (30% off the final price on everything) and picked up some quick presents for the masculine figures in my life.
Cheers, happy holidays, and good luck wrestling for GAP goods come holiday’s end (it’s going to be a tricky one).

Merry Christmas!
