The latest and greatest in summer tank tops trends seems to be the elaborate back design (which sucks for me, seeing as I’m always forced to wear a cardigan in frigid air conditioning. I know, hard life). Racer backs and lacy designs have rapidly moved in on all of my frequented stores (Gap, Urban Outfitters, etc), and the not-so-frequented (Limite, any other trashy club-esque retailer).
Why are they great? Because it’s a spin on the ordinary - I’m loving the simplicity of the front of a tanktop and the intricacies of design incorporated on the opposite side of a piece.

I’m with you all the way on this one, Gloria. Unlike acid wash, I think nothing but happy thoughts when I’m faced with a pretty back.
I like pretty backs and I cannot lie

It’s just swell to have a well-designed surprise on the back of a ladie’s tank.
