Hair Week – Dry Shampoos
Second day, third day…or longer hair? Dry shampoos have become a mainstay for when you need more texture in your life and are willing to dive into the dry shamp camp. Here are a few picks that we’ve come across in your basic oil-absorbing product search.
Widely available, comes in a portable sizing. Great product with an affordable price (and often goes on sale – whew). Typical spray on aerosol cannister with a quick dry finish. Does get pretty light so make sure you delicately massage into your scalp area.
It’s always an impressive thing when a company can make something so unappealing, sound almost delectable (yeesh, get that thought straight out). Impeccably popular product, always manages to be sold out or mangled on the shelves – watch out.
3. Johnson’s, Johnson’s. Baby Powder.
Simple and straight to the point – we’re talkin’ highly functional here people. Two birds. Stone is singular. It’s a frugal and wonderful alternative to consistently repopulating your can collection. Does the trick and does it well.
Always so on the ball when it comes to their naming conventions, I’m a fan of this one. Fresh, delicious as always, LUSH manages to combine luxury with simple, eco friendly goods. Only issue here is the bit around a not-so-good packaging (try lightly dumping this powder on your head. Doesn’t happen in a controlled fashion). Effective and well loved by the blog folks.
