It’s a decadent Harley Party. The Precious Metal Gala / Garage Party / pinkest Harley-Davidson bash ever, is an event established to benefit Rethink Breast Cancer. It’s also a fun bit to help girls get over the motorcycling barriers (I know I’m not quite over it yet). Some nice verbage:
This ultimate ‘girls’ night out’ will feature a pink carpet, be emceed by Virgin Radio’s Billie Holiday, showcase entertainment from So You Think You Can Dance Canada’s Miles Faber and Toronto’s salsa legend Albert J. Gomez, provide hair and makeup stations for an action-style biker photo shoot on a 2010 Harley-Davidson, showcase the new Pink Label collection of biker-chic gear (10% of proceeds go to Rethink), teach women how to effortlessly lift up a bike from the ground, and much more!
EVENT: Second annual Precious Metal Gala in support of Rethink Breast Cancer, Toronto
DATE OF RUN: Tuesday, May 11
TIME OF SHOW: 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
TICKET PRICES: $75, available for purchase at www.garageparty.ca

Thinking that it’s a bit pricey? Think not. I’m giving away a pair of tickets via Twitter (follow @urbanebloc if you’re not – I’ll heart you pink hearts). Simple retweeting + hashtag action – watch close, because it’s bound to be quick. Will be doing it Wednesday night. See you there with your best leather on (meeps)!
I’m with you on the barrier for females and motorcycles. Considering I never even learned how to ride a bike it’s a big hill to climb :) Neat event and a great cause.
Definitely – I think it’ll be a sweet experience. How are you Kat?
