Ok so, only a select few know this, but when I was younger, I wanted to be a DJ. I saw Dj Jazzy Joyce do her thing in the movie Juice, and that was it for me.  Yes, Tupac and Omar Epps were the business but years later the scene with the huge DJ battle “Q” was training for is what I remember. Even now, I ask/harass some of the DJs that I know for lessons. I have no problem admitting that I’m that girl in the club mouthing all the words to the hardest hip-hop, and the oldest reggae; eyes closed, hands up beating walls when the DJ plays something just right.  I don’t know if a lot of you can relate but there are a lot of very early Saturday mornings in my house when my dad would wake everybody up with some serious, what I didn’t appreciate then but now refer to as, BIG CHUNES!

Now, being the type of girl that I am, if at any time I decide to switch careers and tour the world as a DJ, I think I might have to accessorize with these.

The coveted Beats by Dre they are not, but they’re cute, right? The Crystallized Collection, recently introduced by IWave boasts headphones laced in black, silver, red, gold, orange or purple Swarovski crystals. The silver or black would be my weapon of choice. Fancy. Not for everybody but I think I could make them work. Maybe.
