I never thought I’d want something from ROOTS again…

“Lauren” Tote“Venetian Village” bag

…that is, until this summer, when I started seeing ROOTS leather bags everywhere. I first wrote these totes off as too functional and, after all, from ROOTS… they sell Crocs, for crying out loud. (And as long as we’re ripping on ROOTS, let’s just get it all out now: “How does that store stay in business?” you probably ask, every time you walk by. I’m guessing the sweat pants.) But all this aside, some of these bags feel like classics in the making, namely the “Lauren” totes and “Venetian Village” bags. Ideal for traveling, these bags prove that Aritzia isn’t the only Canadian-grown store worth visiting.
