“But I was told it was $7.50.”
“Well it’s $7.95. It’s not that much of a difference,” the drycleaner retorted.
“It adds up – when you dry clean a lot.”
“Well, life is getting expensive,” the foreign lady said woefully.
Clothes are expensive enough, but maintaining them is becoming a nightmare. Thoughts?
thats why i own more jeans than trousers, no need to press them, wash them, or dry clean them – I only launder them twice a year haha
Eeks dude – launder WHAT twice a year? Get with the times – the inflation times!
jeans = workwear
they were made to be beat up, dirty, and worn in =)
“Life is getting expensive.” Haha, guess you didn’t expect to get a life lesson from the dry cleaning lady!
I think people overwash things sometimes. Clothes do not need to be laundered after one use unless one has a sweating issue. Sometimes a nice smelling spray perks up a garment nicely.
I know – dry cleaning ladies have all their life lessons stored up in queue to spew out to their customers. It’s a proven claim.
And Natasha – wellllll…I wouldn’t say I overwashed these. Actually it was my first time washing it, I tend to wear clothes until they have to be dry cleaned, then I go out and buy something new. It ends up accumulating surprisingly fast.
Febreze is your friend. That should be their slogan. :)
PS – Rayanne, I haven’t forgotten! I seem to be strangely short on time these days, I’ll be sure to get it done by the end of next week!
