There’s nothing like a little patriotism – especially when it comes to fashion. ION Magazine raises from the second fashion capital of our lovely-richinnaturalresources-country, Vancouver. I was randomly cleaning my room today after much procrastination, and I dug out this bursting-with-colour-and-energy magazine.

What I love about it? That it’s free and still rocks the ‘underground’ theme (unlike the ever-familiar NYLON Magazine). The advertisements are from fairly unknown and likeable brands, and the content pertains to Indie music culture and other Canadian talent. Coverage on culture, fashion, film, music, and a comprehensive ‘reviews’ section render it the hip go-to guide for us Mounties.
