It’s been a long time coming – but here I am introducing to you all my pal Justin Wu, Fashion Photographer. Geared and raring to break into the Toronto Fashion Scene as well as Fashion at an international level, JWu has garnered some impressive buzz with his work.
Take it from him:
I’m a fine-art photographer seeking greater representation & exposure with experience in photojournalism, editorial, and commercial work. I’ve been fortunate to have my work published, award-winning, and gallery exhibited over the past few years.
Currently, I’m looking to pursue a career in fashion photography or entering the fashion industry leveraging my business background.
I presently reside in Toronto, but stay in London, Ontario as a senior at the Richard Ivey School of Business with a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University. During the spring term in 2009 (Jan-June), I will be studying at HEC Paris and hope to expand my photographic horizons during my stay.
Check out his work below, as well as his official website.
What’s funny is that we’re both B-Schoolers and somehow we managed to live 30 seconds away from one another. Small word hmm?
Justin’s work is stunning! I’m really excited to work on set with him very soon. Keep up the great work, Justin!
shan! I had no idea that you knew justin!
I do! We are working on set together next week, in fact!! Scheduled for 3 shoots together this month. :)
wow!!! tell me everything – how did you meet? I feel like I’m asking about a married couple lol
Haha! I spoke to him on Facebook; not sure how/why we started talking. But we took an interest in each other’s style (wardrobe and photography), and figured it would be a good collabo!
how fabbo! guys, we’re going to get something good happening
No doubt this collabo will produce some major images. I’m really excited for it! We’ll be shooting on Dec 13 & 27. :)
I have had the pleasure of working with Justin in the past and would like to acknowledge his vision, creativity, and results. Working with him has been a pleasure as he achieves his vision through use of a strong technical background, and brilliant eye. His knowledge of the craft is amazing and can be seen in his breath-taking results.
justin – you have a lot of fans :)
Yup, another fan here too! JWu’s work never ceases to impress me!
Love the shots – they’re really rich looking!
