Kate Spade Yorkdale

I really admire Kate Spade for being fearlessly feminine and the shopping party at their Yorkdale location last week was a great reminder why. The current collection, inspired by pop-art, was the bright ray of girliness needed on a cold Tuesday night in Toronto.

The party, which I was supposed to attend with Gloria *cough, cough*, was open to the store’s loyal customers from 7pm -9pm. For two hours, we were treated to cookies and cupcakes (in appropriate neon-pop colours) and offered an exclusive 20% off all items.

Now, I didn’t purchase anything because Christmas and a New Year’s trip to NYC has left me a little dry, but there were so many tempting trinkets that I nearly broke my New Year’s resolution (less shopping, more saving!).

And while most of the girls were going crazy for the candy coloured purses, I was in the corner lusting after this structured black bag. Typical.

Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my apple ipad and tested to
see if it can survive a 30 foot drop, just so she
can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and
she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to
    share it with someone!
