Suspenders are my beloved friend. I searched high and low for you, succumbing to the evils of teenage accessory stores such as Claire’s and Ardene. I wanted you for the summer, to wear with shorts and a cute shirt tucked it. It took me a good two months to find your lone self, perched aimlessly on the men’s accessories rack at the local H&M.
