Jessica Biffi - S/S 2010

Jessica Biffi’s designs were swimming in pleats. And while I recognize this is a trend, the main visual that approaches me when observing these pieces is: pineapple. Lots of pineapples. Although modern and edgy, the silhouettes that I found within Jessica Biffi’s line were somewhat unflattering and possibly unfit for the average woman. I have to commend her play with colours and textures, but for the most part, aside from her take on the casual romper, I would have to pass.

Jessica Biff S/S 2010- Pretty and light on the pleats. Doable. Jessica Biff S/S 2010 - Flowing and beautiful green dress

Jessica Biff S/S 2010 - A final walk, complete with hoods Jessica Biffi S/S 2010 - Final Bow

I thought the show was amazing— and a refreshing change from the more conventional shows. Can’t wait until the pieces are available in stores. Loved the jewellery, especially the earrings by DESIGN + CONQUER!

It was fun and I loved the colours and pleats.the satin/flowy fabrics perfect for spring. Refreshing and urban.
