Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010

Katrina Tuttle is a 21-year-old-Halifax native. It’s likely a typical way to introduce and preface her collection with her one line bio, but truth be told, it speaks volumes as to the nature of her talent. The Princess and the Pleat is the Spring/Summer collection for 2010, blustering with pieces that range from clean cut linen (perfect for the office) and fresh, bright coloured dresses (print and solid). Earlier in LG Fashion Week, this was definitely one of my favourite shows, because everything was so wearable and perfect for the transition between work and after hours. Some might argue that makes it a bit bland (admittedly, the stuff wasn’t a shock by any means).

I think I was more encapsulated by the story behind the line – young girl, all around talent (can you believe that she designs, styles, does hair and makeup, as well as shoots the line? Is it possible to be that talented?!) Take a look at her website as well, it’s beautifully designed (www.katrinatuttle.com)

Really pretty, curious to see where it goes.

Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 - Gorgeous, Texturd Dress Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 - Reminds me of a Princess. Oh right.

Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 - Sunshine. Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 - Love the Necklace. Reminds me too much of an UrbanOutfitters Piece though Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 - Love the hidden belt.

Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 - Final Walk. Lots of pink. Katrina Tuttle - S/S 2010 - The Tremendous Talent herself.
