LG Fashion Week – LOVAS by Wesley Badanjak S/S 2010
Euro-scene, electric blue, mild romanticism, clean shapes. Wesley Badanjak presented a spirited collection set to the scene of a European street (complete with bikes and perfectly coiffed male models leisurely stationed at the front of the runway). Phrased best by National Post:
On the runway, a pack of greasers and ginos, one shirtless, stand expectantly near their Vespas, hair backcombed and slicked back. What, no catcalls?
Their call out on a favourite went with a strapless plaid dress in tangerine and a sharp blue. Mine? A bubble silhouette satin dress with pockets. Wish it wasn’t in medium blue, but I loved the structured bust. Not sure what I’m referring to? See photos after the jump – it looks to be Badanjak’s favoured one too.
