Matinique is smouldering – well, maybe I’m referring to the model in their campaign. Regardless of Black or Blue Label, I think Matinique has captured exactly, what I would style myself if I were a man (or uhm, a bold cross dresser). In a class of its own, Matinique has been a brand that I’ve marvelled at for awhile now. Designed with the aim of being high-quality, comfortable, and fashionable clothing for men (okay, well, who doesn’t). The point is that they manage to achieve all of these objectives, while still remaining an incredibly stylish alternative to the mass-marketed brands (take that J.Lindeberg). My favourites of the Matinique collection would be from the Black Label (suiting and block v-neck pull over pictured above). Though the Blue Label has some wonky colourful designs that I’m sure will bode well for the spring (and the model is hella quirky).
Boys, erm, men – please go out and invest in classic yet bold pieces, it’s so well worth it to make a girl go crazy.
