Molly Young – 22 Year Old Writer and Blogger
So rather than giving in and watching the MMVAs (I don’t condone! Though I hear a lot about Lady GaGa and fireboobs), I decided to read up about inspiring people. I came across in Urban Outfitters’ “About a Girl” section Molly Young, someone way further along the path to self-definition than I see myself. I was riveted by how our lives were somewhat paralleled (of course, I’m much less cool). The girl is an emerging powerhouse, and I see mirroring story lines. Long story short, Molly Young is as my blog title defines – a 22-year-old writer and blogger. Well-published, working on a novel, an illustrator, script-writer, fashionista, and overall creative soul, Molly Young is the definition of young and independent.
I really feel like there’s something special about the year of the 86 baby – Lady GaGa, Lauren Conrad, Chris Wallace of The White Tie Affair , Leighton Meester, and Lindsay Lohan to just do a brief once-over. Erm, what am I doing? I’m on my way [I'm hoping]. Time’s a ticking on 22 – so much more to go!

I’m an 86er and I’m starting up a website to provide scholarship and work information as well as highlighting community events and inspiring individuals within the Canadian African and Caribbean Community!
