With Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year just days apart next month, there’s no better excuse to incorporate some red into your outfits. I’ve always been careful when it comes to this particular colour – depending on the shade of red it is, what it is, and your skin colour, it can sometimes make your whole ensemble look… well, too much. But get it right, and it can be an incredibly attractive and complementing colour that makes you stand out. My advice if you’re feeling a little hesitant, too? Start small with accessories such as headbands bands, necklaces and scarves to give yourself just a hint of red, and when you finally find the shade you like, move on to the bigger things like shirts, jackets, and dresses.
If you’ve reached that stage and are on the hunt to add some red to your wardrobe, then make sure to stop by Bayview Village’s NADA. The store’s got plentiful of hot red fashions, from dresses to jackets, and for the more daring… a pair of croc embossed red leather pants. And oh ya, everything in the store is currently 50% off. Happy shopping!
