On top of all of the shows taking place under the tents at the Lincoln Centre, there was also much fashion frenzy taking place on 14th street in Meatpacking District. Outside of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Show, there’s a number of shows hosted by Milk Made, which are notoriously harder to get into where you need to know someone who knows someone to get you in. I’ve got my eyes set on attending a few of these for the next season!
That said, it was a pleasant change of scenery to attend Misha Nonoo’s Fall/Winter 2013 presentation taking place at the Standard Hotel, as part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Surrounded by boutiques like Alexander McQueen, DVF, Scoop NYC, it was hard to stay on track!

For Fall 2013, Nonoo puts her unique spin on the classic ” WAR & PEACE” with a collection that has a military and modern edge. As she describes it, “Think Edie Campbell takes a weekend trip to Russia to visit descendants of the Russian Romanov’s for a carefree weekend ?lled with Fabergé egg hunts and caviar. ” And a luxurious trip to the Russian countryside, it was!
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m absolutely obsessed with accessories and have a ridiculously and unnecessarily large collection at home. So when we heard about the BaubleBar Unwrapped pop up shop, we had to check it out! Though I didn’t have a chance to stop by, Gloria was awesome enough to stop by and pick up a pair of earrings for me and an edgy necklace for herself!
