Oh, Michaels.

I could go crazy in a craft store – honestly. I recently spent some quality pre-holiday time at Michaels, purchasing goodies and items to inspire some holiday scrapbooking and other fun self-made things. Obviously, I left $80 poorer richer in materials like a portable paper cutter (very necessary for the girl that can’t cut a straight line), 3D stickers in the theme of cities (think San Francisco Painted Ladies and Chicago), as well as clearance photo albums and gift bags for my bloc girls.

One of my favourite finds was this birthday card do-it-yourself-kit. There are 20 different cards of varying patterns (that happen to be modern and extremely attractive, ahem). Sample of a pattern below. Lookout friends, this one’s coming for ya!
